About the wine

Franconian wine, especially from Würzburg, is celebrated for its unique character shaped by the region’s distinctive terroir and centuries-old winemaking tradition. The vineyards along the Main River benefit from mineral-rich soils—particularly Muschelkalk (shell limestone)—and a mild, continental climate, which together produce wines with remarkable minerality and freshness.
